Paint Out Royal Norfolk Show 2017

As part of Paint Out's expanding programme for 2017/18 we are very pleased to announce that we have been officially invited to participate in this year's celebration of the arts at the prestigious Royal Norfolk Show on June 28 and 29.

The longstanding Royal Norfolk Show is the largest agricultural show in the UK with a footfall of over 100,000 and attended by many dignitaries and VIPs. This will present you with an opportunity to undertake plein air challenges like no other. There is a myriad of subjects and themes that the Showground will present to the artist:

Horses, cattle, pigs, and poultry to falconry displays; agricultural machinery, horticultural shows, fairground attractions; chefs and food vendors, and spectacular features in the grand ring, as well as wonderful opportunities to paint figures in the open.

The relatively short notice given to us has meant that we have spent the last few weeks securing sponsors and fine-tuning the event. We are now pleased to have our marquee sponsored by Norwich-based leading law firm Leathes Prior and to have one piece of your work auctioned as part of the official RNS art tent auction on day 2 with East Anglia's leading auction houseArnold Keys.

The proposal is to simulate our core Norwich event with a morning and afternoon painting session on both days of the show with plenty of time to explore the show in between.

As this is an invitational and not a competition the focus is on creating the best artworks for sale. In addition to the auction piece, your work will be displayed on a rolling basis in our newly fabricated exhibition area in the marquee. It can be sold either unframed and raw from the easel and taken away by collectors in our branded boxes or, alternatively, the work can be dropped into your own frame and displayed on the shelving system. (Recommended sizes to follow)

Volunteers will be available accompany you to your position at each session and a branded cordoned off area will be created to make sure that you are able to work uninterrupted.

Paint Out will host a social in Norwich at the end of the first day.

We would be grateful if you could respond with your availability, or if not please consider our 15-17 September and 16-17 October events.
